No matter how hard we try to relax our mind and body, this fast pace world, force our body to experience stress which leads to migraine, high blood pressure, chest pain, insomnia and also causes other mental health issues. And what most people do to reduce the stress is just to smoke it out or drink it up. But, that's the worst solution you can ever try out. So, today, I'm going to tell you, more safer and natural solution to reduce the stress. Here is the list of 3 teas which you can use to destress yourself.

Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea has its origin in Europe and it is very popular herbal tea. The mild sedating properties of this tea help to get restful sleep and reduce stress and anxiety. It also boosts your immune system and increases lifec span. The warm and soothing nature of this tea causes increase in the levels of serotonin and melatonin which in turn help to reduce stress and help to get a good sleep. Chamomile tea contains apigenin. It is an anti oxidant that directly targets neurotransmitters and brain receptors to induce relaxation.

Kava Tea

Anxiety is one of the most common  mental health disroders in the world. Although there are number of medications capable of treating anxiety, these medications often come with unpleasant side effects and may also casue addiction. With more people turning to natural remedies for common health problems, attention has recently focused on how Kava Tea can benefit those with anxiety disorders. Studies have indicated that it can help to reduce anxiety. Due to the natural pain relief benefits of dihydrokavain & dihydromethysticin, Kava tea can also be a good alternative to traditional pain relief medications. Also, Kava is one of the best alternatives to the sleeping medications due to its antistress properties. In one study, a group of people took either Kava or a Placebo.. Those who took the Kava reported falling asleep faster. There has been additional research suggesting that one of its benefits is to improve insomnia related to anxiety disorders. More research is necessary to determine if Kava can aid with insomnia in those who are not suffering from anxiety. It was determined that, unlile sleep medications, it had no effect on a patient'z driving ability.

Green tea is one of the most well known and well researched tea. Green tea not only promotes immune system but it also has benefits in the realms of heart diseases and cancer prevention. Green tea contains amono acid which helps to slow the absorption of caffeine and produces a natural calming effect. Research also shows that the combination of caffeine and L-theanine improves brain function by strengthening working memory attention and reducing anxiety. The oxidants from green tea extracts prevent brain cell damages, which could lead to significant mental loss or cause Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and dementia. Green tea also a perfect aid for meditation, soothing the nerves, and even when you need to unwind a stressful day task.
